Going beyond racks and
spinners when styling
fashion accessories and
jewellery

Get Glamorous!
Traditional spinners and racks work well with
fashion accessories – especially at the cash
counter. However, staging themed tabletop
displays can result in increased sales.
Accessories are a personal purchase and
grouping them by theme tells the story
of a trend or lifestyle, draws the customer
in and enhances the perceived value of
the merchandise.
To reinforce the vintage flavour of this
story we used antique props – empty picture
frames, green coloured glass – and as a
result we hope the customer feels a connection to the style.
When creating your own vignettes, take
your customers to a different time and
place. Tempt them with creatively displayed
ensembles of jewellery and accessories.
Instead of a table, use an antique trunk.
Turn old books into risers. Sprinkle broaches
and bracelets on tiered cake stands and
spill necklaces out of compote dishes.
Be sure to remove unnecessary
packaging and labels to further increase
the perceived value of the accessories.
