The eco-chic product trend has hit the gift industry. This season, numerous suppliers are
launching products which are kind to the environment – and our eyes. Trade fairs are also
answering the demand for ethical and environmentally-friendly goods. Organizers of the
Birmingham Autumn Fair are introducing a new Ethical Brands area at this fall’s show
being held September 2 to 5 in Birmingham, England. The area will highlight exhibitors
of eco-friendly and fairtrade products. Meanwhile at the Las Vegas Market, a Living
Green Pavilion will debut at the summer market, July 30 to August 3. The area will
highlight the growing style and substance of eco-friendly home furnishings. Down south
in Atlanta, AmericasMart unveiled its Green Product Showcase, featuring more than 300
eco-friendly products during its Atlanta International Gift, Home Furnishings and Area
Rug Markets in early July.
